(DALLAS) – Ambit Energy, the world’s largest direct seller of energy and a leading national retail energy provider, was recently recognized as the 2016 “Highest in Residential Customer Satisfaction among Retail Electric Providers in Connecticut” by J.D. Power. This is the third consecutive year Ambit has been awarded this distinction in Connecticut based on the J.D. Power Retail Electric Provider Residential Customer Satisfaction Study℠, which began measuring retail electric providers in 2013.
In addition to the highest satisfaction ranking in Connecticut, Ambit was also awarded four out of a possible five J.D. Power Circle Ratings™ in Illinois, New Jersey, Pennsylvania and Texas.

Ambit provides electricity and natural gas services in deregulated markets in 16 states and Washington D.C., primarily using a direct sales channel of more than 400,000 Independent Consultants. The J.D. Power study examined satisfaction among residential customers of ranked retail electric providers in nine states, including seven where Ambit was eligible, across five key factors: price, communications, enrollment and renewal, corporate citizenship and customer service.
